Our Mission
Our mission is to help young girls and women lead productive lives in their communities by providing cultural, social, and educational development.
The Foundation of HOPE, Inc., a 501 (c) (3) organization was established to help women and young girls. The first program launched under the foundation was the Economic Development and Empowerment Program for girls. The program serves girls in sixth-grade attending Middle School. The goal is to teach them to be viable contributors to the future workforce. The program covers topics including addressing low self-esteem, bullying, social media, workforce development, economic and community development, entrepreneurship, financial literacy, and more. We believe children are our future, and we must prepare them early to be great future leaders.
In 2018, the Women of HOPE program was established to empower women in the community and help them be leaders.
Keasha Haythe, Founder
The Foundation of HOPE, Inc., was founded by Keasha Haythe, CEcD, an economic development veteran and certified economic development professional, small business owner, and Past President of the Maryland Economic Development Association Board of Directors. She continues her passion for economic development by serving as the President & Founder of the foundation and launching the Economic Development and Empowerment Program for girls.

Angela works in the field of criminal justice and serves as treasurer managing the funding to keep our program flowing.

Olivia Brice is a Senior Principal Success Architect at ServiceNow. She holds a BA in Government and Politics from the University of Maryland and an MBA from the Darden School of Business at the University of Virginia. She is pursuing her Doctorate in Organizational Change and Leadership at the University of Southern California.

Regina is a retired manager in the poultry industry. She enjoys outreach and handles outreach for the organization.

Trudy R. Hall, MD, is Vice President of Medical Affairs & Chief Medical Officer of Tidalhealth She is board-certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. She has more than 20 year’s experience in healthcare leadership roles, including private practice and several medical directorships.
Dr. Hall received her Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. She did her residency and served as Chief Resident in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation at the JFK Johnson Rehabilitation Institute in Edison, NJ.

Michelle has a passion to help young women. She has a heart for teaching young women about the threat of human trafficking, which is a national epidemic.

Ruth Ann is recently retired after 45 years at University of Maryland Shore Regional Health. At the time of her retirement, she was Senior Vice President of Patient Care Services and Chief Nursing Officer, overseeing Nursing, Rehab Services, Pharmacy, Emergency Services, Home Care, and Professional Practice.
She graduated from the MacQueen Gibbs Willis School of Nursing, earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from Wesley College, Masters of Science in Nursing at Catholic University in Washington, D.C. In 2007, she became the first nurse at UM SRH to obtain a doctorate degree.
It takes a partnership of dedicated volunteers to make sure our foundation is reaching out to as many communities as it can to ensure individuals have an opportunity to participate in our empowerment programs. We are fortunate to have some of the best community advocates dedicating their time, energy, and expertise to our cause.
