“My daughter, Maya Hawkins Bailey was blessed with the opportunity to be one of the first participants of the program. I cannot say enough about the benefits of this program. The program reaches out to girls just when they need it most when they are confused about their future and are transitioning from elementary to middle school. The program gives them a supportive foundation of hope to stand on.”

“We are proud to be contributors to Foundation of Hope. It addresses a real need in the community for the social and emotional development of young women. In particular, the program provides the opportunity for young women to develop their skills in financial literacy, public speaking, responsible conduct, self-management, and community involvement.”

“Thank you for the opportunity to speak about my experience as one of the first participants in the Foundation of Hope. As many of you know, entering middle school is challenging especially if you are a girl. There’s thinking about what you are going to wear and how you’ll do your hair but going to Hope helped me relax and have something to look forward to every Wednesday without stressing over the other things.”

“In the Foundation of Hope program, I learned many life skills such as how to present in front of an audience, fill out a job application, interview skills, how to manage my money wisely and how to become an entrepreneur all while meeting new friends and developing positive relationships with my peers!  The Foundation of Hope program has helped me plan for my future career path using a vision board.  All of the informative lessons and useful skills that I have learned have helped me be the best student that I can be.  I remind myself often of the things I learned such as; I need to get good grades (this year I even achieved all A's in every class ) and be respectful of myself and others in order to achieve all of my life goals.  One of the most important things I got out of this great program is how to be a productive citizen and young lady.”

“We were so elated when our daughter, Leilani, was selected by Easton Middle School for the Foundation of Hope program in 6th grade.  The vast amount of information that she was exposed to and the subsequent skills that she obtained in the program were invaluable.  She learned the importance of having a positive social media presence, being a good citizen of our community, entrepreneurial skills, managing personal finances, and interview skills.  As a result of this program, we were able to see our daughter blossom into a confident, conscientious student and respectful and empathetic young lady who we are certain will become a successful adult and a responsible contributing member of our community.  We are so grateful that our daughter was given an opportunity to participate in this wonderful program.  We feel strongly that the Foundation of Hope program is truly a key component of developing the next generation of strong successful female leaders.  ”
